- Listen critically to and deconstruct musical elements to analyse how expressive, aesthetic and technical qualities are achieved
- Confirm that the range of functional musical elements is appropriate to meet the standard required for analysis
- Evaluate how production or technical requirements of realisation of the selected music impact upon the aesthetic and expressive qualities
- Engage in discourse about aesthetic and artistic qualities of the selected music to inform own ideas
